I have loads of them as girlfriends over the years. It helps if you are in the biz to start with but not many relationships work because the nature of the biz is to 'sleep around' as it were. Helps if you're swingers aswell.

I can quite easily say I wouldn't be able to handle going out with a pornstar even if she only kept it to the videos, and not sleeping around after etc.
It would take a really really laid back kind of person to be able to do that and unfortunately most guys wouldn't be able to handle it.

I don't think I'd really have a problem with a pornstar girlfriend (though I've not tried it). Certainly I have had a number of "open" relationships where we have both enjoyed sexual relations with a number of different partners without it underming the love and trust that exists as the basis of a true relationship - I've always found it possible to distinguish between the love and affection you feel for someone you care deeply about, and sex. Good sex is important to a relationship but its not the main thing (just speaking for myself here) and as long as you can trust each other and know that no matter how many men or women your partner has sex with (prono mno mno mno mno mno mno mno mhat love will remain solid I don't see the problem (but then I've never really been the jealous type).

I'm sure most pornstars also need someone to just cuddle up to, share a good book or film with, share a life with, feel safe with and feel they can come home to - sex for fun (or money) is fine, but sex with real love and affection is better surely.

Or am I just being old fashioned?

I think it would be an 'ego thing' with blokes to begin with, but the novelty would wear off after the 2nd shoot. Blokes ARE insecure and paranoid with their girlfriends having a career that gets them noticed.
I would quite happily date Ms Rampton and not be jealous of her work.

well there are some great porn couples around. angel and frazer, phil and cathy blah blah blah and i admire them. ive had relationships with people in and out of the business and neither seemed to work for me


i agree with dave that people on the swinging scene may be better suited to porn girls altho...im not a swinger and dont think it would be my cup of tea - altho have nothing against it. i spose an eye for an eye - i get my fun u get urs would work.

however i have just read a great book called 'the ethical slut'. it is about polyamorous relationships. it had a great section on dealing with jealousy and the reasons for being jealous. some include insecurity, fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, feeling left out, feeling not good enough or feeling inadequate.
i really recomend it as an eye opener and maybe some of u may then change ur minds on having porn star girlfriends.
