Because they do not supply any models with more than sporadic work. Producers/Amateurs etc pretty much always just go direct.

Why exactly is it that a thread debating rates has pretty much become an attack against one model?

As for agents, if a model doesn't want to use one that is there choice. If a model does want to use one that is their choice.

And no, I am not merely interested in my 'cut'. If you knew the first thing about me you wouldn't be making unfounded accusations on my service to my client. You cannot tar all people with the same brush.

I am actually all for agencies. I think it is a safer and better way to run things. Far more professional.

But apparently I stand quite alone on that opinion. It would save a lot of messing about and cancellations both ends of the spectrum.

i,m all for agents in the US thats not an issue

over here if the biz was a big as the US then agents would be the way to go without doubt

it never happened when there were tons of producers here so it sure wont happen now there is only a handful.

Then you ask yourself with the likes of websites such as adultwork would the man with a cam in a hotel room go thru an agent to book FHM models or just email her,offer ?150 quid and get content of said worldwide known FHM style model..agents could be losing lots of girls potential lucrative work couldnt they!!!
