im imagining the stuff u mean is just TGP gallerys for use in promoting my website. obviously its impossible to stop people ripping ur stuff off but generally speaking my content should not be availabe for free. I mean the content i own anyway.

Sorry, misunderstanding - I wasn't saying your specific images you are selling are going for free (I don't know what your clip4sale store number is or what the pics are)
I was being more general - why should people buy pics of you (when there are legally free pics)? What is your USP - unique selling point?

Well I think I've found it -
Colours really horrible - cyan text and pink background - lots of frazzel
Maybe you could improve the initial thumbnail pic on the description bit. Some on my screen look a bit dull/dark.

To be brutally honest - who would buy this set - 'Sandie Caine & Tammy Oldham Out Doors'? It looks like it would need a lot of work to improve them. Adjust the gamma etc.

im not an editor joe. im just someone flogging a dead horse. im sitting on over 40000 images i own so i may aswell try and make something out of them.
u are completely right with all the marketing buzz ur suggesting but i just dont have the time to be adjusting colour levels in the hope i might make $7.
i am sadly in it to make a fast buck right now. i know thats just taking the piss out of those people doing it passionatly and to actually make a living such as urself.
maybe i should try and make the time to do it right and i might make something of it.

so how do i do this banner thing? i did ask the clips4sale guys but they ignored me. how do i make it? where do i put it? if im reading right its just to go at the top of ur store page and i honestly cant see what that achieves. or is it a banner in the usual sense?

and whats the cgi link do? - why clips4sale arent telling me this i dont know!

Basic sales patter and it works.

create a banner size 468 by 60 pixels (put images and text on it- large outlined text looks better - maybe use the font called 'impact')
Call the image banner 'banner.jpg'
go to add del files in your store and select the images folder
( Ithink you have to go to the link 'Click Here to open the uploader in a new window')
choose the images folder - there is a drop down arrow on the right
then use the browse button to select the 'banner.jpg' file and it should upload
go back to previous page
click 'home', then 'image store' then 'edit site'.
In the section -'Top HTML' include a link to the banner
mine is
http://store.intermarkproductions.com/a ... banner.jpg
So yours will be 10882 in stread of 16689
so yours is - http://store.intermarkproductions.com/a ... banner.jpg
You could link to any image but keeping it on the store keeps it neat and tidy.

40000 images? I am suggesting you could sell them on ebay (no hardcore image previews though) 40000 on a cd/dvd and people bid for it.
See what happens.

Use them to promote your other sites. Quick buck is not my experience.
Create your own blog to promote your own stuff - unique pics.
Not enough time? out source it. You could try other webmasters/ netpond.com to try to sell your content.
