Also looked at other videos on site and none are like this. Maybe I did not de-interlace the video since it was my first and have done 50 since.

Let me know if you are over 18 and I will give you a free membership to look at other videos to prove that they are de-interlaced.

Upto now all videos on my site are called 1080i so even though I opted to de-interlace them I left them at that.

Thank you for your helpful criticism,

Dont get me wrong, if you want to convert your 1080i videos to 1080p and sell them as 1080p then thats up to you. Its totally not the point im trying to get across though and i apologise if it seems that way.

What gets on my nerves more than anything else is signing up to a site and seeing that the video editor hasnt bothered to de-interlace the content, before converting it to a progressive format. Even if its 480p it still IMO makes the video look awfull and can turn what looks like a great scene into garbage and is very off putting. Especially for what i consider could be fixed with a relatively simple step, with even a simple de-interlacer at almost no cpu cost.

If you check the image you posted, you can see the the interlaced content. Which means it wasnt successfully de-interlaced during the encode.

I know ive come across as an ass in my posts, im sorry for that and if its the only video on your site that shows the interlaced content then you have no worries, if all your videos show it, then its time to look at your settings and perhaps reencode your videos again.

No worries Twingo,

I think the sample video is a bad example of my site video. It was the first ever video I did and I think you are right in saying it is interlaced.

Please get in contact with me through admin@nude2rude.com and I will give you a free membership (providing you state you are over 18) to have a look at the other videos. I had a look last night and think they look de-interlaced as opposed to the sample I posted.

Kind Regards
