true - very true Twingo. Does need more powerful hardware but might as well be prepared. I have customers that run the next level up on their computer LCDs of something like 2560 x 1600 so even 1080 looks small.

But the video was taken from an interlaced source, as evident by the interlaced lines when there is motion in the video. Which looks horrible IMO, especially if you have taken the time to prepare it in this format.

Whoever is editing the video should de-interlace the content before they encode to the output file, doing so will make the content look far better, its also a very very small step and depending on the method chosen to de-interlace puts very little load on the encoding process.

BTW - that is called noise you may notice from bad lighting on my first ever HD 1080i -> 1080P video not Interlacing.

Just checked video as you got me concerned and there is no Interlacing.

No its not called noise, its interlacing, regardless of what you might like to believe.

As i pointed out right at the start, heres a frame from the video link above, notice the lines going through the face, thats interlacing, thats because you have recorded the video in interlace and not de-interlaced it correctly.

If you still think thats noise then ..............

If your going to advertise that your videos are true 1080p then at least the source material should be, which yours clearly is not, what you have done is taken 1080i and deinterlaced it to 1080p.........true 1080p is either digitally recorded in 1080p (which requires very expensive cameras) or is taken from film and scanned at 1080p resolution. For the reasons above, this is why most xxx websites only offer upto 720p videos.

I used De-interlace tickbox in the Export Adobe settings

I ticked the bx and it plays back fine here.

Screen shot taken from my PC running a 1920 x 1200 resolution running Frameshots to capture screen shot.

A bit different to yours but agree some interlacing is shown so will leave my site as 1080i as advertised on my site!! So how many videos have you done then recently? Lets see them.

Happy with that title?? 1080i or do you want a more specific title?

Cheers
