I guess the moral of the story is ... never believe anything you read on a bulletin board ? sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction

Belgravia
I understand that you are uncomfortable naming the performers, but if you have valid proof they are risking not their lives but everyone else's by being stupid, you owe it to everyone to name them - how would you feel if someone caught something life threatening when you could have prevented it happening?
I would appreciate an email to kevwh@hotmail.com as I am un UK shortly and will be booking a number of performers for shoots.

I am a private individual who has done a number of POV style shoots with both amateur and professional as well as numerous solo shoots both stills and video all for private collection.
My shoots have been mainly overseas with some in the UK

Yeah, I actually read a few diff threads, both on BGAFD as well as the other sites mentioned, & reading both, there was a distinct problem in that specific incident.
As regarding the whole issue of Michelle, from my reading of the posts, & the reactive statements to them, some people took the wrong idea from what Michelle had posted. She never stated it was her Website Designer/Host/Provider etc, they took it upon themselves to think it was that person.
A simple case of miscalculation, 2 + 2 = 4, whereas the answer for some of the people, was 2 + 2 = 15.
Yes, so what if her website, or her website designer/host/provider was in her profile, that's where the error cropped up. They got the wrong idea of who she was refering to, based on her profile.
I know it was in the past, but it still seems to be dug up & re-used in certain threads on certain forums.
From what I read, it was a different person entirely to her site/situation, & she was annoyed over the long wait/lack of forthcoming material, but she did get it resolved in the end, so at least there was a good turn out of the issue.
As to the reasons for this thread, & the other similar about naming & shaming, I believe that if some form of Site can be setup, where the more delicate information is accessed ONLY by people inside the industry, with details of their tests, when & where they were & weren't able to work, due to whatever reason, etc etc etc. If a site can be setup, with the intention of helping & benefiting the Industry, without lies/bullshit/etc, & every1 is onboard, for the good of the Industry, I think that this could actually help to alleviate some of the problems mentioned on various forums of late (STI's, No-shows, etc). I highly doubt it would erradicate all the problems, but it would go along way to easing the headaches expressed recently.
From reading various posts on various topics of late, the issue of basic Naming & Shaming is looking more & more of a difficult & dangerous issue to get into, but there have been alot of good alternative ideas. These "good ideas" could be the foundation to something that benefits the industry.
