We all know the BGAFD rules do not allow naming and shaming and for one good reason: because its sole manifest was to be a shrine for fans to talk about porn and its favourite performers.
This is something that should be in the producers password protected section of and not for general public scrutiny among a bunch of people who would sooner salivate profusely over a bit of industry mudslinging than being genuinely concerned about the knock on effects of its outcome.
I think part of the problem with UK porn is that it has been totally demystified with all its dirty laundry done in public that its punters have actually either forgotten how to wank or just plain beenb put off by all this bull shit flying around as of late.
Who wants to think of a performer getting DP'ed then heard she caught chlamydia or gonorhoea? As real as it its, its hardly the stuff patrons of porn should be focussing on. Or am I just being an old fuddy duddy?
Belgravia you make some very interesting points. Come share them in confidence with us at the UKAP forum or email me privately please. I think you made some good points. We should know names but exposing them to the public is to incite anarchy but to do it within ranks is to have some measure of control.
On a lighter note, you shouldve video'd that whole incident. Maybe you should make an undercover expose of the dirty goings on in our industry?

Is this a case for 'ethical consumerism' ? Just as i'd rather my clothing wasn't made by underpaid child labour in dangerous exploitative conditions i'd like to think that most consumers of porn would rather that the performers weren't subject to unnecessary risks ie to their health. The consumer perhaps shouldn't have to think about this, but at the moment it would seem like they ought to.
