Is it a must to have someone witness the shoot / signing of release ? sometimes i have to work alone when i travel and getting a witness in a country where its illigal isnt going to be easy!

I have a 2257 model release.. maybe i'll be better with a standard release that doesnt mention 2257 ? can anyone give me a link for a good model release ? i'd be interested to see what you fella's use so i can compare with my other 2 options.. a very basic one and the complicated 2257 one.
As I've said many times before concerning 2257 and UK websites:
2257 is an American law and we (most of us) are in the UK.
2257 requires that records are kept available for inspection at your place of business. Our place of business (most of us) is in the UK.
US officials have no jurisdiction in the UK and therefore cannot inspect them.
If you visit the USA they can't arrest you for non-compliance of 2257 because they don't know if you are complying or not because they can't inspect your records!
It's more complicated if you are physically exporting DVDs etc, but the answer is to comply with the spirit of 2257 and not worry about it - US law does not YET apply to the rest of the world!! (even if your server is there).
My understanding is that if you was "Targetted", as say UK version of "Max Hardcore" and they wanted to get you, its my understanding that they CAN arrest you as you land, as they will already know all they needed to know when they get you.
It was kinda cloudy as if they could get you for a crime commited in the UK while your in the US but it has been speculated that the internet is world wide.
While its true that providing the records is a breach of DPA, I'm pretty sure IF they want you, Tony will take one for the team.
My view is from my perspective i'm going to collect the data i need to comply, INCASE i need to comply, as its better to be safe than sorry, until the law is set in stone and we know where we stand.

I'd say they will get you on obsen first and then use 2257 to nail you to the wall, I'm certainly not taking any chances and building 2257 into my database system, since i'm not reselling, and not passing out to anyone and all my own sites, its reasonable for me to control it.
