I wish I had back all the money I have wasted on air tickets flying girls to Spain who either decided at the last min that they did not do that sort of thing, got plastered the night before, met a new boyfriend who told them they were destined for better things while in the process of getting plastered, got married and went on honeymoon, got arrested and thrown into jail, exposed by the Sunday newspapers, raped and otherwise assaulted while filming a gang bang movie, cut herself shaving, decided she only liked girls and could she bring her best friend and her mother and.....Well what's changed, we are in the business of working with the fair sex and we should all know, they just don't always play fair but if you can't take the heat try working with Eskimos. Me, I believe anything they tell me.

I'm neither an amature or professional in the porn industry but I had this thought (maybe easier said than done though?).

When you book a model (amature or professional) would it not be a good idea to have a written contract with her (or him?) and/or the agency?

The contract would detail exactly what's required of the model, the location of the shoot, the length of the shoot, the models agreed terms plus anything else you think is relavent.

The model (or agency) would have to sign one copy of the contract and you would sign the other copy.

That way there shouldn't be any arguaments (well, hopefully anyway).

Just a thought.

It's difficult to comment on the Revo experience without actually being there. Maybe it was Revo's attitude maybe it was the models attitude. Maybe it's best to put the situation down to one of those things. These thing happen. Maybe next (assuming there will be a next time) Revo may have a better experience.

If im booked for a shoot i always go for it and ive never tried to raise the fee by a few quid after all has been agreed, I will also stay till the shoot is finished, ok only once i had to leave before the end of a shoot as i had a long train journey to face and the shoot went over due to other models not being ready in time for each scene. Also if i have a shoot booked and then a better payed one comes in for the same day i will always do the shoot i was orignally booked for, if anyones keen to use you they will usually book you for another date then your available this has happened to me a few times.
and im not the only model thats reliable out there. Its proberly just the odd one or 2 with the wrong attiude to modelling that dont quite understand that shoots dont always finish on time. as for rates that varies from job to job producer to producer

Revo,

I've been in both situations where I've been late for a shoot as well as had the model / photographer not show up.

If I'm running late, I try to keep in contact with the person I'm going to see so they know I'm on my way and genuinely sorry.

If the person I'm meeting is running late, I would expect the same courtesy so I could perhaps go grab a coffee or relax - not pace up and down.

I think it's out of order that you'd agreed on a time / services / price (etc) and the model wanted more. I'd have told her to naff off - and I did this once when a girl I booked said she would do an uncovered blowjob witha cumshot then when she arrived she said she never did that except with her boyfriend(s).

Would you accept similar behaviour at a restaurant where you order a ?10.00 steak but when it arrives at your table it's now ?15? No - why should the model be any different.

There are lots of reliable models out there and you can see this in the amount of work they get but there are other models who will take you for as much as they think they can get.

That's my 2 pence.

Harry
