If you do want to discuss Heysel, I'll be willing to do so ... murder? Err NO. A massive scrap between two sets of fans, led to the horrible deaths of the innocents trying to escape the fighting. By your reckoning, did our fans go out to kill? No. Were those activlely responsible for the deaths? Yes. We don't disguise it, it was horrible, crimminal, and will never hide behind it being a prevalance in 80s football. No cover up, those that could be identified were punished. They did not represent us, just as the Juve "fans" who came at ours did not represent them. Have we forgotten? Never.

The total number of people admitted to the Leppings Lane End on that day was LESS than the official capacity.
The problem was the excessive number of people trapped in the two central pens, when the outer pens were sparsely populated.
Your claim that there were a lot of people without tickets is pure ignorance on your part.

Ignorance despite both the Hillsborough independant panel's findings and the recent inquests shows there are still people who don't want to know. I've had 27 years of this, and I've had my say, don't care about their views anymore. The "Wingeing Scousers" were right all along. We never claimed to be angels, but those who still want to believe the lies, you've been proved wrong so many times, now it's time for you to get over it.

Yes Spunkie, yet again your prejudice and offensive remark over an event you know nothing about just shows your hatred for us. You don't want to bother to learn any facts before spouting off. I don't know the facts either other than a section in the ground, no segregation, 3 stewards, and TWO sets of fans involved, and wholesale disgust that anything happened at all ... But in your eyes it doesn't matter, we always start it.
On a forum like this where most people have a broad mind, I find you the exception sometimes, especially now. Those few fans who involved themselves in a fracas may well be scum, but you are just as offensive.
