After I posted this last year Sam Slater apologised for calling me a "thick cunt". I wasn't offended as I've said, just disappointed as it means the debate doesn't move forward if people continue to 'play the man rather than play the ball'.
I'd argue that the debate doesn't move forward when people continue to be thick cunts.

Not saying your are, Max...........just putting it out there that there is more than one way of stalling a debate.

At least I'm willing to apologise - unlike some.

"At least I'm willing to apologise - unlike some."

It was good of you to apologise when you did, although it was unnecessary. As I've said it would take a lot more than you and others being rude to offend me. I enjoy the debates on here and if people think someone is talking rubbish they can politely tell them, there's no need for someone to personally attack the poster. It suggests they are not articulate enough to tell the person how their argument is wrong and therefore have to attack them personally - 'playing the man rather than playing the ball', as I've said. Was considerate of you to apologise though, most others on here who are rude would never even consider doing something like that.

It was right I apologised so I did.

I'm sometimes right and sometimes wrong. I'll sometimes be rude. What I won't do is let my pride get in the way of saying sorry - unlike some.

Oh Mick or Mick. Do you really, really think I don't know who Samuel is referring to?

Surely not, Mick?
