So who will the Salford Bhoys go for next? According to the Telegraph Mr Purplenose will be involved again. So that means another Caledonian manager. Step forward Hamish McSporran, current manager at Clacknacuddin Academicals, a man with a long history of running a club on no money and winning fuck all. Still once he signs Messi, Bale and Scholes all will be well in Salfordland.

Before the season started Moyes said "We have got the toughest start Man Utd have had for years".

This was from the manager of a team who had won the league last season, nearly won it the season before that, and did win it the year before that.

For a team supposedly that good there is no "tough start" you should be able to beat everyone.

This comment from Moyes gave the players an excuse to fail.

He was a dead man walking from that comment onwards.

I commented on another forum on another web site months ago that he would be gone before the end of the season.

I wish someone would employ me to do a job that they would reward me with 5 million quid for if I did it badly! Something has gone very wrong with the world. Moyes should've been sacked with no pay-off and should be working as a dustman now.

Ha ha, that's a good joke. Where does it say Scholes is going to play at all?

One thing made me laugh was the Sky reporter standing outside Old Trafford saying "What a black day this is for Manchester United fans"

Behind his back a group of fans were doing the conga.

Scholes isn't going to play you dipstick. He's getting involved in the coaching now Steve Round has been shown the door.

Liverpool had their famous boot-room on the staff. Lots of big teams on the continent use the experience of old, iconic players all the time. What better player to have coaching your players than the most technical and intelligent player England has produced for decades?

Scholes might even put in a 2-footed challenge on Fellaini's shin, keeping him out of the side until he can be sold, thus improving the teams chances in one swift blow.
