Moyes on the way out?
The press is awash with rumours that Moyes's sacking from Man Utd is "imminent"
Maybe some truth in it or it could be a slow news Bank Holiday.
However Moyes appears to be running out of excuses. There those on here that argued that he got dealt a bum deal from Ferguson in being left a team in need of a comprehensive rebuild. Those claims have been proved worthless given that the team are on course for their lowest points total ever in the Premier League and will miss out on the Champions League for the first time since '95. How many times has the United team been rebuilt since then whilst maintaining success? On top of that I don't think there is any precedent for a side that finished top in the Premier League falling to 7th in a season.
I guess the question for the Glazers is "Do we trust this bloke with ?100 million for a summer transfer pot?"
Given the performance of Fellaini (27million) and the way Moyes has played Mata seemingly out of place, the Glazers would have to be huge optimists.
And somehow, I don't get the idea that they are......

Re: Moyes on the way out?
I kind of feel sorry for him in a way. So much hope (and hype) when he took charge, but look what a difference 12 months makes. He always looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights, a haunted man.
I very much doubt he'll be at ManUre next season. My guess is that after trousering his nice severance payoff, he'll end up taking charge at some yo-yo club or a fallen giant like Villa, and do another Everton-style consolidation job. Which is about his level.

Can't blame him for taking the job, and the compensation package will cost Man U a fortune as well as offloading Fellaini for a fraction of what they paid for him. He was not the right man from the start and took over a team full of over the hill players with huge egos...step forward Rio....
As for the choices of his replacement Neil Lennon is getting a lot of backing. No Premier League experience, never stressed while managing Celtic in a league of one....potential for disaster number two very high. Sign him up straightaway and see how few top class players will come to Salford!

Yeah.......I blame Rio. He's the biggest ego of the lot. Makes you wonder why Ferguson put up with it for 12 years.

The end of this season will see a clear out the likes of which no other major English club has seen before. Old Trafford's car park will be empty....

Yeah.......change the subject. Ferguson stood by Rio for 12 years. I'm sure his ego is no greater than most other top professional athletes (self belief is important in reaching the top after all).
Are you confusing 'ego' with 'twitter presence'?

Is it e is black?
Imagine if he did give him the boot the social media (the tool of choice for the gutless egotist) immediately the race card would be waved.
Anyway speaking as someone who can only pray for the implosion of football, I can't understand why it's always the managers fault and they carry the can?
It's never the overpaid financial black holes that are the players after they are ones actually booting a piece of leather about to other latent homos.
Is it the fans who whine when the team don't win everytime?
Either way football is a tragic example of why our societies going/gone to hell.

It's the manager's fault because he picks the team. I'd have thought that was obvious.
