why do you hold such views against a country that is proud not to have the blood of its young men spread across the middle east...???

Have you looked at the uniform?
It is worth pointing out that the last time Switzerland was involved in a war was 1815. So in the Second World War for example, Switzerland carried out economic cooperation and extension of credit to the Third Reich. I am surprised that you haven't pointed out how wonderful that policy was for the Jews of Europe.
As for the Swiss Guards, they look fine fellows. Let me know when they next appear in panto.

That must make your brain the size of a microbe then. That is if you have one of course. So far you haven't demonstarted that you do indeed have one.

Re: I'm a Killer boasts Harry Hewitt
In my long working life I have worked with lots of ex-military colleagues.
When I first started work many of the older blokes I was working with were WW2 vets.
Throughout my career I?ve had to undertake many assessment and promotion interviews and got to see personnel records as part of that process.
My experience has been that those who banged on about what they did in the war were either in the catering corp. or the pay corp. I found this out after seeing their personnel records.
Those who actually saw action never said a word about it.
I remember one particular colleague who became a good friend.
Nicest bloke you could ever meet, he?d do anything for you. Salt of the earth and all that.
It was only when I went to his funeral and was listening to his brother give a eulogy that I found out he?d been on the arctic convoys during the war and had a terrible time. He never said a word.
So Rodders what were you in, the pay corp. or the catering corp.?

All depends on the individual. My first boss was a nice bloke, too. He was a commando in WWII, the type that got up close & personal, hand over the mouth, dagger to the heart stuff, and was happy to tell campfire tales of his exploits. Some of the stuff he came out with would have some of our right-on members reeling in horror. (He'd refer to and act of extreme cruelty as "You wouldn't even do it to a Jap")
Whereas one of my school friends ended up in the SBS, (and something beyond that, we guessed it was one of those units that doesn't officially exist) but he never talked about it, partly because of official secrets, mainly because he just didn't want to.
Each to their own.
(I remember Percy from Corrie, who was a cook in the army in WWII coming out with the classic line "I've made gravy under shelling!")

Yes and hardened by their long term involvement in the wars of...... . Most of the Swiss Army only splash their blood around when they cut themselves shaving.
"and please don't bring the European Jewish question into the debate... sad very sad"
Sad indeed for the Jews since no other interpretation of your comment is meaningful.
Of course, even though they remained neutral as usual in World War 2, the Swiss made sure they made a fast buck as always. They even made money out of gold taken from Holocaust victims.
"Switzerland's most important exports during the war were precision machine tools, watches, jewel bearings (used in bombsights), electricity, and dairy products. Until 1936, the Swiss franc was the only remaining major freely convertible currency in the world, and both the Allies and the Germans sold large amounts of gold to the Swiss National Bank. Between 1940 and 1945, the German Reichsbank sold 1.3 billion francs worth of gold to Swiss Banks in exchange for Swiss francs and other foreign currency, which were used to buy strategically important raw materials like tungsten and oil from neutral countries.Hundreds of millions of francs worth of this gold was monetary gold plundered from the central banks of occupied countries. A total of 581,000 francs' worth of "Melmer" gold taken from Holocaust victims in eastern Europe was sold to Swiss banks.
