This is a discussion board but nobody speaks about old euro artistik porn, erotik , erotik horror with porn elements , sex and viloence with porno elements ala joe damato , jess franco , erwin c. dietrich , and jean rollin , claude pierson , claude mulot , max pecas etc...... I really hate amateur content . I love professional porn in which the director really cares about the technical side of the production . I dont watch porn or erotic to jack off i really study the technical side of it . Gonzo, reality and internet amateur porn clips are shit to me . I can only relate to the old minds of the 60s to mid 80s . If I recall the only way you could get even slightest glimpse of hard was on the main players sites via a download and most of them turned out to be short versions of censored TVX type stuff, most of which wasn't even related to the button pressed.

Was it the naughty internet goblins or the industry itself thinking we've another great way to get some extra cash even if they just view the free trailer and don't join?

I ask because that is one of the other reasons why I only buy on DVD and only then from the store type sites, if the trusted mail order mag doesn't have anything of interest which is now becoming more and more the case when I do feel it's time to get something new.

It is also to own what you want to own. Even if you have a broadband connection you will be able to find some porn, but will you be able to find the porn you really want?

There are things I am interested in which are not there for download, and they are not on DVD either. Just a few months ago I was bidding on an internet auction for an old VHS porn tape, and I gave up when the price exceeded 200 Euros. In the end I found I was only the 4th-highest bidder and the tape went for round about 400 Euros. Needless to say: this was something extremely rare and collectable.

I dont get the payers at all.This is 2009 not 1998 when Sullivan and his ilk charged and got ?50 for a crap VHS.Look at the other forums and see the quality of people making porn in the UK..load of fucking chavs for the most part and the girls a right load of slappers who dont want a real job! Although we can stream adult media to our 52 inch TV from the pc the quality still isn't anywhere like the original dvd. Plus having a partner who seems to enjoy porn more than I do we have to fight over the coillection and what goes on next. I've been having this conversation with some other bigwigs in the industry about how things are and how things were. For me to a point porn has become boring because for me back in the 80's and 90's actually getting the porn was half of (if not more) of the kick. Going through the whole process of finding a place that sold the then illegal VHS tapes, was part of the thing for me. The excitement about it being illegal perhaps, or taboo certainly was part of the attraction. Now you can switch on your laptop and have instant access has actually detracted from the porn effect for me.

I personally feel that it's not just the site rippers and tube posters that's caused the industry the problems it's in. A few years ago it was DVD is going to die, it's all got to be internet and now well even the internet producers are struggling to make ends meet due to amount of freebies out there, yet most producers post to tgp sites or even tube sites, as thhey deem it the only way to get people to visit their sites. Yet the conversion rates are going down in the main. I think the whole industry is suffering with a general malaise and ultimately porn overkill. I think it's become a case of you can actually have too much of a good thing.

I believe however, there is another way....

Too much of this is flooding the internet all in the name of gaining things like free rapidshare memberships or cash for points.

So while it might be nice to get it all for free trawling through the dross to get to anything resembling quality is likely to make one a bit jaded

When Photographers starting shooting 100-150pics per set and these ended up on sites I think is when the shit hit the fan

Quantitly never beats Quality...duplication is the biggest killer of quality
