The difference is that slaving away on a grant for 3 years so you can then go straight away into employment at a wage that most of the public couldnt ever get isnt really that much of a "hard time" and of course there isnt any stigma of having no money (although students do seem to have cash for those lifestyle items) unlike the working poor we have in this country.

And as for higher eductation it isnt worth a damn anymore due to it being being devalued by any old idiot being able to go, 50% of th eyouth of today bein gin higher education!! most of these people shouldnt be there.

Sorry my learned friend but unfortunelty due to circumstances beyond my control my upbriging hasnt allowed for the luxury of someone being able to bail me out while i go off to have some "life experience" while getting a degree. I went straight into work in one of those saintly jobs that everyone says is so vital, yet so undervalued.

Being a bloody Aussie, it pains me to say this but Britain/UK/England has nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, compared to most other joints ( apart from Oz of course ) its oozing with achievments and things to fight for.

The funniest nation on earth. Churn out the best TV shows. Invented the Industrial Revolution. Page 3 Girls. Good honest bad-for-you but ace tasting nosh ( fish-n-chips and not that shit they dish up in posh French cafes ). Great pubs. Green lush countryside. Myford lathes. Kate Bush. The Beatles. Stones. Yes, the BEST music talent. The Ingish language itself !!! Issac Newton. Winston. Sam Fox's Tits. Jo Guest's Arse. Paul Raymond etc etc etc.

If you ever feel being English isn't doing it for you, just look at the French.
