I think what is slightly worrying is that a few girls over the last couple of months have contacted us on the morning of a shoot announcing that they, "Had left their tests at another producers house" or some similar story. Naturally we suggested that the producer is contacted and asked to email the certs. We never heard another word from the models.

I'm now wondering whether these girls have tried this on other producers and a few basically say, "Oh,ok, i believe you" and then continue with their shoots anyway for fear of wasting a shoot day.

As far as fakes are concerned, I expect to see an original NHS or other private cert on decent paper. No photocopies.

All the same folks, remember, a proper STD test is not "a magic talisman of purity" it merely states that on the day of the test they didn't detect anything...........

1/ it doesn't guarantee that you don't have something incubating.
2/ it doesn't account for your sexual lifestyle (off camera) during the time after your test.

So test or not there is always a risk.

On a slight diversion, in Hungary some months ago, the whole porn industry was brought to a halt for 2 weeks by a pornstar couple who complained they were being constantly reinfected with gonorrhoea. Everyone was tested and all found to be clear, it turned out the couple had been reinfecting eachother......the twats!

Being the "Glamourous" pornstar couple naturally they presumed they couldn't possibly be the culprits themselves!

You should keep a copy of any other models certs that you are working with if possible as if at a later date you find that you have been infected it is possible to bring criminal charges against another party who uses false certs, proving that certs are false is the difficult bit because of the data protection act and patient confidentiallity so dont go naming and shaming unless you are sure of your facts.

Im the girl that confessed in the UKAP to have fake certs, I havent retracted it at any point, what happened is that I didnt get any reply from performers at all, only UKAP itself, Terry Stephens and Dave Wells, it made me think that really coming clear and trying to amend what I did facing the problem in public at the end of the day was useless, with me not getting work ar been out of the industry doesnt sort the problem out, I didnt invent it, and there are so many performers faking certs and still working, so I decided to change my confession end of, but Im happy to carry on not getting work and trying to change it if posible, I was working in a place that was not safe health ways at the time, so I decided to be honest and amend my mistake thinking that I could really help to have safer industry, but its not happening, I did learn the lesson and I wanted to apologise for it in a public forum, I see now that it didnt work, now if the rest of the industry feels that just talking s**t about me, the rest of the performers are safe , Im sorry but you are all wrong, and shaming by naming people wont sort this out aither.

I intend to run a performers asossiation to make it beter and safer, we will see how much response I get, I dont really spect much to be honest, names dont need to be mentioned, Im asking performers to please have in mind how dangerous it is for yourselves and the others end of.

if anyone interested in helping me to make the industry better, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks

Not every producer is a member of UKAP, so I think it should be discussed EVERYWHERE! It's been going on for a long time and most UKAP member know who the guilty parties are, but do nothing about it, just like a porn version of the League of Nations!
True, I'm not a member and don't like the idea of joining a 'porn boys club', but what gives them the right to think they are the only ones who can discuss this!
Name and shame is the ONLY way to get this out in the open!

Well done! You are the only performer to come clean and admit they made a mistake! You should not be penalized for this, just because you made a mistake.
To be honest (no insult intended) I've never heard of you, the performers I'm talking about are VERY well known by EVERYONE and they still get work!
These performers still work even when they KNOW they have something! They self-medicate and fake their tests, just because they don't want to lose money. They have no respect for the people they work with!
Name and shame is the only way to get this in the open!

Every business looks for ways to reduce and minimise its costs. As a result actions are taken or not taken which place the health and wellbeing of others at risk.

It would be utterly naive to think that this doesn't happen in porn. Other people are better placed to answer with regard to how common a practice this is - very rare, rare, fairly common ?

Sorry,

Im not sure if I anderstand it, are you saying that you know performers that knowing that have something are still undertaking shoots?

I never had anynything but it doesnt justify what I did, thats why I decided to dont leave the industry when I was invited to do so, I did preffer to make my name public myself as I honestly though that it could change the way of many performers do, but really its only affecting me personally.

After reading what you said, I cant believe that my name is still the only one in all this.

Im paying a very high price for becoming clean, but at the moment it seems to me that this is not going to help the industry in general, as like you said there are well known performers faking certs and no one will mention it.

Thanks

You can have your certs done for free in the NHS, the problem is that they only want ot do it ones a month and it takes 2 weeks to have them in writting, so it works out that you will be out of work for about 9 days, if you have them private ways you can get them the same day I think, but it cost about 200, and there is only one clinic in London that do it, there are not very many performers that can really afford it, I think this is where the problem of faking certs started.

When I started in the industry, I asked the clinic to have them done every two weeks , so I could always have up to date certs, but they said that to do it this way I shoould pay 180, I cant really afford it ones a month, and i think that this is many performers problem.
