But in Woodman's case Part 308 was remarkably like parts 307. 306 and all those before, only with slightly different faces. Is it any wonder that Private pulled the plug?
From the looks of recent offerings it looks as though they're still willing to spend a bit on production- and in that context I'd be interested to know if Fashionistas managed to recoup its production costs............

i have to agree with Halibut teasing and titillating is sadly lacking in most porn but i understand Terry's view point. My own problems with the current porn is the same as halibut's coupled with the fact that nobody seems to enjoy it for real anymore its all faked up to the eyeballs with girls screaming out in pleasure as soon as a cock is anywhere near them. I havent watched any of Marino's but will rectify that soon but to be honest i don't really hold out much hope.

The best porn for me is when everybody is into it for real not just acting as if they are.

What amazes me is that so few people seem to be willing or able to just cut out the distributors. That's what the internet is for, to cut out greedy middlemen.
What about a syndicate of Brit producers co-operating to sell their product from a jointly-owned website? Relish seem to manage, selling their own output.
The way is there, it just needs the will.

Hi Guys

I agree with Marino that the British market is at the best its ever with a wide variety of porn for the customers, if its good or bad for certain producers only time will tell. Gonzo, amateur & reality porn certainly seem popular with the public at the moment but times & fashions change with fresh ideas all the time.
With distributors now giving a fair price for pro films its fetched a lot of film makers like me out of the woodwork who can hand over a stack of films & just sit back & earn some decent money, if a film is crap the filmmaker & their distributors will soon know this after selling or not selling a couple of different titles. Within a few years from now some will be in a more dominate postion than they are now, when Sam Rammi made the first Evil Dead film he had a budget of just ?50.000 but by the time he had made his 3rd film of the series Army of Darkness his budget was ?12.000.000 so if your unknown or well known the films will speak for themselves at the end of the day.
What we need to do is help each other as there's enough out there for everybody, and if we can form some union of sorts for all film makers rich & poor, it would be a good thing. We must all have a bit of talent to have got where we are but by working together we can unite this to show the world how good Britain really is. For the first time British porn is new & fresh with no one holding a monoply as some did before, theres porn of all tastes with
each film getting better than the last.
This is not the death but rather the birth of porn in Britain.

Would never work. Although it's not a bad idea. You see for any of us to make any decent money we have to sell rights around the World particularly the U.S of A. Thus the need for a distrib or an agent. It's not cheap to sell this stuff. Sounds insane but it's true. You send out viewing tapes to these idiots and 3-6 months later they give you an answer.

just a couple of thoughts-

- just received mario's anal road trip 3 + the sample dvd, and if we have performers of the like of the goriously cute and energetic louise muirhead - at last doing b/g, but not yet anal [attention mario, the title says anal!!] - there's nothing wrong with brit porn.
its much better than the more glossy american films as most brithish films have that magic ingredient, fun and a laugh. also humour, and the girls look as if they are having fun, whereas most american girls look like they are just there for the money [there are some exceptions - sabrina jade, and kitty marie for example].
in american films where our girls are in them, they beat the americam girls hands down - e.g. 18 & confised, cum swapping sluts 2, naughty little nympho's 6. especially rebekah jordan, sandie caine. rebecca lee and ashley long, and they tend to take over there scenes - well done to the brit girls.

- one gripe is with that stalwart of the british industry, ben dover. i love his work, but often find i end up with episodes that i already have just to obtain a new couple of ones. come on ben new is new.

Sadly, I believe that the scenes with Louise M were shot two or three years ago, and I don't think she has done much/any b/g since.
However, there are a few other high-calibre Brit girls, so all is not lost.

i repeat what i said earlier, yes there are a lot of quality british girls on the scene but more and more of them spend most of their time in the States, thus leaving less time for british producers to use their talents. i look forward to seeing what type of films Rebekah Jordan produces later this year, if they are of the quality of the previous films she starred in they will be worth waiting for
