Hi, is egafd and iafd somehow connected? Have they same owners? Or are these two portals totally independent?
I am asking because I noticed that iafd's advanced search engine haven't been working corretly for a while.
For example Olivia Zlata https://www.iafd.com/person.rme/id=4888 ... fc7b49d282 is in the database, but you can't find her by nationality in search engine.

If correction's are added to iafd, then they are moved to queue for a review. Is this queue public or is t private and only some mods have access to it?

Yes, egafd and IAFD are connected - somehow.

I noticed a bug in the tattoo search also. I'll let them know.

When you submit a correction via the performers profile page or the film page, it will be visible for the IAFD editors only.

The egafd search is also broken since i registered here. Or it is my old browser but i think i saw mysql errors.

I use google with a simple egafd added in the search with moles, tattoo's etc but images gives me stuff all over the place.

I am (reluctantly) working on a project whereby I'd leverage an AI-assisted Python script to scrape data from either egafd or iafd (I used to prefer iafd for their proclivity to use first and last names more but I am now leaning more toward egafd naming conventions with numbers next to e.g. Angelica), but it would really make it easier if I could have a local database to work with.

In your experience, in any forum post, has anybody approached this, maybe sucessfully? How closed are these projects, or is there an exposed API or anything that one can use?

I didn't look into the STASH project, which has some of their own database and I don't want to use STASH (I don't like eating frog meat until I have tasted it), but rather my own project directly (I may post a screen recording on VEF in a couple of weeks to show you), and I'd like to know what options I have.

I am specifically interested in unique egafd and/or iafd urls and headshot images at this point. The actress - partnersWith and other YAML properties are scraped from my unique filenames.

I don't know, if they need some. But as a prerequisite you should probably have sent in useful and well documented submissions over a longer period first, to show that you know your stuff. And with sending in I don't mean five or ten, but more like 50 or 100 or more.
Or you show your capabilities here in the egafd forum, by submitting new movies, additional info to movie or performer entries or merges.
That's the way I got promoted at egafd. Before I were made an Admin/editor here, I've submitted lots of info and made around 1400 posts over the course of three and a half years. That probably annoyed the other Admins that much, that they promoted me.
Of course, a little bribe didn't hurt either

The egafd search is broken IIRC, since around 2015. Unfortunately, like some other broken things this will not soon be fixed.

Searching with google works. They seem to have taken egafd from their blacklist (adult stuff).
If you don't find it via google, try yandex.com in the same way.
You get the best results in both engines searching if you use site:www.egafd.com/actresses/details.php instead of simply egafd in addition to your search term.

It's always good to try the forum search, which still works. You often get hints to the performers or films, as many of the films and performers were discussed in the forum, before they went into the database.

I don't know if anyone scraped egafd (except me, of course).
In 2019 I made a offline database with all performers and films that were there at that time.
The database is useful, but it's pretty outdated. http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php
I was able back then to get egafd, but not bgafd. The site is a slightly different, and I'm not a techie.

Downside of offline databases is, that you always just have a snapshot of that current time.
Merges and new additions are not in the offline db. So, the last XNK that I have is XNK8584. Currently the last XNK is xnk9998.


Btw, I don't think IAFD and we at egafd are happy if someone scrapes the databases.

I seem to remember this project...? But I think what I remember was from 5-10 years ago, or more. So it's not that then.

BTW, recently IAFD URL's have also changed.

For example:
