Interesting I'd argue that porn and wanking is an alternative too relationships rather than a sort of "consolation prize." I can't see any bona fide scientific arguments that it's actually an addiction in the medical sense of the term (although all men have a biological need to ejaculate, and if not from wanking would ... happen in the night!)

As I said about half way in, I think we, including me , make more of a deal about a life of wanking than the actual wankers do.

I was glad he agreed to do the interview to make that point come across
