all you producers

I am new to this scene (buying vids). What do you do if you have a film that is 'out of date' so to speak? For example, if you filmed something 3,4 or 5 years ago, am I right in assuming you keep some kind of master tape, and if so do you log all the details so you know exactly who, what where etc. And, if you do is it possible to run a copy off for someone on special request? AND,(last and) if it is possible, how much would you expect someone to pay as it would obviously be more than the usual price because of all the hassle. ????????

If you are a producer who has spent good money producing a movie, or if you are a consumer that has never seen that movie, then it is not out of date. I guess if may be possible to order a copy of something that is not on current release, but if the vendor has any business sense he will charge for half a days twating about at a cost of what he might expect to earn if he were engaged in the pursuance of his normal business. So - ?100- ?200, for the video?

I am trying to track down some Angels videos that I only know the scene and 'storyline' to. I am looking for the work of one particluar girl and I am having no luck, but I would be willing to pay that sort of money if necessary.
