Bluebirdfilms Update 29 August 2009
Re: Bluebirdfilms Update 29 August 2009
All the previews you have are thumbnail sized. Even when you click the picture for the high resolution image, it just returns the image in a new window with the same thumbnail size.
Don't you guy's test stuff before you send it out? I tried with both firefox and IE, it was the same the last you did an bluebirdfilmsupdate.

They are meant to be thumbnail size.
That's why you're invited to see the full screen sizes at the actual Bluebird website.
Kind regards

Are you referring to the thumbs in the BGAFD post, or the ones on the actual website? I know the ones in your original post are meant to be thumbnails, but if you click the image below you will see what i mean and is surely not the way you intended it to be.
The popup window inside my picture is what i get when i click the image in the slideshow, where it quite clearly states that i should be seeing "a high quality resolution" and not the same exact thumbnail that loaded in the preview
Hence why i mentioned it wasnt tested and as usual Bluebird dont even bother re-testing it and simply reply "thats how its meant to be"

Re: Bluebirdfilms Update 29 August 2009
When you click any thumbnail, you get the thumbnail gallery for that Movie. That is how it is meant to be.
The thumbnail gallery is not the website.
The hi res version is redundant (as is obvious) when we are only posting a thumbnail.
The website is where the actual pictures are. The purpose of the information is to direct those who are interested to the website.
Kind regards

Re: Bluebirdfilms Update 29 August 2009
Whoever designed it, has clearly never designed stuff with the user in mind before then.
I mean from a user point of view, the user clicks the thumbnail to see the higher resolution image, as is standard with pretty much else on the internet.
The user does not click the thumbnail in question, to be presented with a thumbnail gallery application that clearly states "Click picture for high quality resolution", then when he clicks the thumbnail ...gets a popup of the exact same image....because then he would have viewed the thumbnail 3 times now and got no further to the image in question.....if he still viewing the site at this point (a hint : they probably are not) then then have to fish through several links to try and find the picture in question.
If you cannot see what is wrong with this, then fair enough. You really dont know what your doing. Which from other peoples posts here, doesnt seem too surprising.

Re: Bluebirdfilms Update 29 August 2009
Or [to repeat] you could with 1 click go from the BGAFD post go to the actual website where the actual pictures actually are ... which is why we post this stuff in the first place.
FYI: from the upstream tracking figures we have, this is what everyone else is - as you would expect - doing !
Go on - take a break from over analysing a preview host site - and enjoy yourself with the actual Content !happy!

Totally agree with Twingo... I wondered this before but just figured it was my browser or something......
Just doesn't make any sense and goes against all web conventions. Click a thumb to get a thumbnail...!

With what single click? Unless im missing something, all the hyperlinks in your post go directly to the thumbnail viewer, where i can view the same thumbnail again.....and when i click on the thumbnail to get the higher quality preview that your website mentions i will get.......i get the exact same thumbnail for the 3rd time. I cannot do a single click to see the image i have clicked.
If it helps heres the navigation i had to take to get from your original post to the first image in the "double vision" video.

Sure because we all know how reliable bluebird's figures have been in the past don't we. Believe me, most people are giving up and missing out on whats perhaps some good quality. I wouldnt trust anything your so called webmasters are telling you, they are probably the same clowns that designed the flaws in the last website, which allowed people to download every single scene for free without registering and the same clowns that could see a scene was probably downloaded 1000times, with 2 people paying and never thought why?
The intention of my first post was to actually let you know that something wasnt working correctly, in the hope that you would probably fix it, so next time around i could perhaps look at the images, but .........
