Help And Advise Here Please!

Hi everyone. Would really really appreciate some constructive criticism of our new group of websites http://www.portwayfilmsxxx.com/ as they haven't been performing as well as expected. Please tell us where we can improve the sites (given that the footage is what it is at present, and that we cannot yet do downloads as opposed to streaming). We really want to make these sites work and have put a lot of time and effort in to them. Your honest advise would really be appreciated. Also, If you like our sites and would like to support us, here is a plea from the heart ? subcribe to our sites for just ONE month if you can afford it. You mention that you cannot yet do downloads, but are streaming and the help section on your site also says the same thing. Im pretty sure this is going to stop a lot of people signing up, it certainly would me.

Yes, you can tweak a site to make it prettier or improve its features, but you will always reach a point where it will have a consistent sales conversion ratio for the sort of traffic it attracts - and then it is just a numbers game - and you need big numbers.

I wouldn't join basically because of the style filmed but that's just a choice Ric not a dig. Just the names of the sites put me off but I am getting very old and fussy very very quickly lol.

Biggest thing that puts me off sites is when they include:

1 Month and 3 Month memberships do renew automatically if not cancelled - go to our billing support links at the bottom of the website to cancel your membership


See time and again complaints about memberships not being cancelled which isn't a dig at you it just happens and makes me stay well clear no matter who is involved.

I also wouldn't want to keep track of my sign ups or return to a site just to cancel a membership.

downloadable clips are a standard feature for paysites nowadays i think.

you need to get a bit more content if you are selling them as 10 sites really- bang my british pussy has just 5 scenes and bang my asian pussy has just four different girl. maybe just make them all one big site would be better. so like the british pussy section, asian section etc.

then you can also add affiliate content for other sites.

I found it just a little confusing. Basically you make most sales within the first 10 seconds and confusion will stop that process dead in its tracks.
At TMT we're so basic it's untrue but we keep it that way by design, but then we have much less variety of content so I suppose it's a problem that we just don't have much anyway. I don't know what your conversion stats are but I was recently told that ours were extremely good and this even with a simple site - so maybe that's the point. Keep it simple, even though you have so much to offer. My mate Paul (an internet marketing multi-millionaire - the bastard!!!) told me once... "Find your fish - feed your fish. In other words, give your customers what they want and keep the process as simple as possible.
Perhaps you could market each of your areas/genres as a separate sale but offering the rest as a 'throw-in' like Bangbros do it.
They sell the area that the potential customer has come to see and then offer all the rest as added bonuses at the bottom.
BTW - I may be completely wrong about your set-up and perhaps you are not the right kind of site to do what I suggested but then that's my point - I visited you and was not sure exactly what I would be buying and what would be an extra I would have to pay more for... as well as the side-links (on the right) which is an area usually reserved for affiliates etc. Remember, you mustn't treat customers like idiots but you can't assume they know what you're about until you've told them.
Just my opinion.
