thank you buttsie for pointing me to those posts . im amazed that a company like tamara promotions have programs on the adult chan etc , only reason i joined them is because i thought they must be big and reliable if there on tv ..... doh mugg , anyone want to come with me and visit these wankers , its about time the british porn merchants who continually ripp us normal dudes off where sorted out, fuck the uk, everything i order from the usa turns up and its cheaper , im forever hearing " support us " from uk firms/producers , my answer to you is sort out your house, then perhaps i may enter it again , im sick of being ripped off.

Never assume anything where websites are involved

Videos are another matter entirely

IMPO if a site doesn't have an online cancellation option or website address for the billing company avoid it

Above all else read the terms & conditions
Many 3 day trials need to be cancelled with 2...otherwise its an unwanted monthly membership...sneaky too say the least

The best one is a well known site that asks you too cancel 2 weeks before the end of the first month...they are banking on people not reading the fine print..2 months is better than 1

I doubt that you've been 'ripped-off? I mean when did you order these videos, Monday? Tuesday? Have you stopped to ask yourself rational questions like ? If Tamara have been trading for years and have programs on satellite telly why would they suddenly take it upon themselves, in this year of our lord 2003, to rip the man conker off? Do you suppose they have absconded to Monte Carlo or the Seychelles with your ?20.00 I would suggest not.

The truth is that as a small outfit with limited resources, declining revenues and hampered by bullshit rules and regulations they may have bitten off more than they can chew, but will get to your order once things have sorted themselves out. Or, it could be that they have effectively gone bust ? which can happen to any business in a crap market. But I very much doubt whether there was ever any grand conspiracy to ripp you off and nick your ?20.00.

I suggest you just chill-out and calmly keep on trying to contact them. I would be surprised if they just suddenly decided to call it a day after all these years.

Putting all the uk producers and suppliers in the same bracket as the company who you have mentioned is WRONG.
We for one have been in the industry for 20 yrs....our videos are among the cheapest featuring uk girls along with a few other reliable suppliers.

If you want out of the market because of one problem thats your choice..just remember some of us do our best to make sure you get what you ask for.

Goes from us as well, we have a reputation built over 20 years. I send out loads of freebies etc and help out where possible so don't class me with anyone else. I have fought hammer and tongs for both punters and producers alike ask around.

It's not clear to me what Conker means exactly by being ripped off. Is it a complaint about the content or the non-delivery of his order.
IMHO we are too prone to go off in all directions without knowing the full story. There have been a couple of examples of this very recently.

If Tamara Promotions IS out of business should their web site be still running??

I'm not sure how the law work's regarding sending money & not getting anything, guess there is no PLEASE ALLOW 28 DAYS FOR DELIVERY clause with these sort of site's. Do all site's carry e-mail adresses to contact in case of probs?

Perhaps they should advertise the approx lenght of time of delivery (if they don't already). Snail mail not the fastest form of delivery & I guess some sites could not afford express delivery.

Congrats to anybody who offers money back if not completely satified.

I must admit when I look at vids or DVD & I'm trying to decide which to buy I'm thinking: I hope it does what it's says on the tin (to coin an advertising term.) No one want's to part with their hard earned cash & be dissapointed!

In their defence, in my dealings with Tamara I've done allright out of them. On a couple of occaisons I've was supplied the wrong tape a quick phone call to explain my problem and the correct tape was supplied and the incorrect one kept, so 2-4-1 at times it seems.
