The USA has Jim Souths casting agency, where you can hire pornstars for a video shoot, this makes it easier for people to shoot their videos with a pornstar of their choice, money permitting, but does this country offer something similar, heard of Kirstyn Halborgs casting agency, but that now appears to have closed down.
How does anyone go about hiring a UK pornstar for a video shoot and what rates apply for a days video work?

You could say a lot about UK agencies but I don?t know if they are worth the words. Look at the basic facts. You enter into a contract with an agency to hire cast, they agree to supply the person of your choice at an agreed rate. You explain clearly to them what the job entails and leave it to them happy that all is well.
Oh dear, the day of the shoot and your supposed ?star? does not show, sometimes you will be lucky enough to get a phone call 30 mins before shooting giving some lame excuse, the phone call is never from the agency.
So you contact the agency and tell them the situation, you have a location, three other models, make up artist, stills man, lighting guy and someone to make the tea all standing around costing money. If you are dealing with one of the more reputable agencies they will try to get someone else, some just say hard luck. Time limits what can be done and you are unable to get a replacement so you say to the agency. Right, your model, star, what have you did not show up where do we send our invoice for a lost day. Ouch! That hurts them, no they have no responsibility and that?s the point most of them do not have any responsibility.
They send unsuitable people for castings, if you can get the girls to even attend a casting these days, they have no responsibility to ensure that the girl turns up for a shoot with more in her hands than a cigarette, oh yes they do, and they send girls to jobs and don?t give the full facts of that job. Case in point. I have a shoot planed for Sunday. Studios booked, other participants booked, make up booked?you get the idea? On Thursday one of our agencies sent one of my ?stars? off to do a spanking job. She got to the job and found out to her cost she was not just getting spanked, they also caned her till she was black and blue. OK, she could have said no, but put yourself in the place of a girl, miles from home surrounded by people who are committed to getting their film. Today as you will have gathered I am looking for another girl. Her agent was, according to her dishonest. Not only has he cost her the earnings from at least three shoots I know she has had to cancel, he will have upset the plans for many others involved in these shoots, not to mention the mess that this girl?s backside is in.
No take the advice from someone who has suffered from agents and would only use them as a last resort, find your own! While I am at it take a look at Model listings, loads of lovely ladies in our model register. It?s free, you do your own deal with the girl, were not after your money and NO we will not send a replacement.
There are some great girls out there, the British girls are the best I would rather shoot British girls than any other in the world, I have been telling my business associate that we should not be shooting Czech girls, but I do fall down on the agency argument. Their girls do attend castings and they do turn up for the work and they do take an interest to see that things are running smoothly. No, there is no comparison between agencies here and in the USA. The fact is that they are not professional, if they were maybe the girls would stick with them rather than flitting from one to the other. Not all is bad, I have used the odd agent who has done a good job, almost all the girls we shot for Private were booked through JFT and I have to say that at that time they gave great service, praise where praise due.
PS Looking for a lovely lady to join Bettina and Louise in a gang bang on Sunday. Oh dear!

Thanks WessexXXX, when I read that line, it really annoyed me. I would like to think all my fellow posters would totally disown ANY video that was shot under duress or pressure as Remington described. If any directors who made this type of video were about, they should be banned from working and have Old Bill investigate.

Fair comment Remmy, Moser used to make all agencys sign legal contracts to cover a girl not turning up, and I know one of the big producers is also considering suing an agency here in UK, me I have to be fair and they do try for me I think only one girl has let me down bad and we had traveld 300 miles in truck etc to shoot her, she did do a shoot to make-up for pissing us about and worked her ass off to boot, I can see how we could improve it as how do you make the girls more reliable if the agents can't. Thats why the professional girls get so much work they turn up without any excuses, any distance,

Why not try e-mailing the girls themselves? A number post here and they have 'friends' you might be interested in too! Provided you're legit and can provide a reference you should find what you are looking for.
