damned that hard man, my last few mobo's that died only took out my ram, one of them took out 1 of the processors (i'm a multi-processor whore).

You sure it wasnt something else like a powert surge? my friend has a power surge that killed his modem, psu, mobo, graphics, ram, proc, and 1 hard drive, he thought lightening had struck his phone line or something.

this may or may not help but maybe worth investing ?40 in a decent surg protector that also shields ur phone line, since i put one on my main pc its more stable because the uniti cleans the electric no no more mini spikes or whatever they are called to cause blue screens and stuff.

I personally havent made my mind up on Dual Core verses Dual Processor, i am hardcore multi processor fan, got 1 dual processor and 1 quad processor box (and the singlke proc one) at the moment, both Xeon's, and my friends Dual Core which has a faster processor, by almost 500mhz just cant keep up, even tho he has Sata (equal rpm) hard drives, the same amount of but faster ram, mine is only 133mhz his is 800mhz, but mine still finishes 20-30% quicker.

When its up and running, post some speculation on the speed difference from ur last one, im curious :)

I'm looking into a Dual Core laptop so im interested :)
