Amateur can be good - but I personally find the site a bit hard to navigate at the moment, it's a bit too 'busy'. It's certainly different though, and if it's working well for you then a simple re-structuring to use a menu system rather than one long scrolling page, and cutting down on the number of text colours, would probably make a massive difference to the usability of the site.
