British Video Review Sites?

Are there any websites that specialize in reviews of British pornos? BGAFD is a good database and provides essential "Who's in what title" and "Here's how she looks" info. But I'm looking for a site where someone actually views the movie, describes the scenes in detail ("Jane bj's Peter, John anals Sara...") and gives an overall rating (3 stars out of 4, 8 points out of 10...). CAVR site at http://www.cavr.com/topten.htm is an example of what I'm looking for, but with an emphasis on UK productions.

We are moving that in that direction and already do some of what you suggest for some films. If you (or anyone else) would like to contribute such reviews they'd be very welcome - especially of films featuring British girls which have been released in the States, but not over here. However, as far as my own notes and reviews are concerned, since so many porn scenes follow the same well-trodden sequences of events, I can't usually be bothered to provide a blow-by-blow account of each scene. Anyway why spoil it for the person who decides to buy the video by giving exhaustive detail in advance. Some of my film notes are more like reviews these days - when someone gives a review copy, when I like the video enough (occasionally when I take a great dislike to a film too) and when I've got the time: e.g.

It is an idea however, to differentiate between bare notes and full reviews in the columns in the film section, but I hesitate to ask Phil to make yet another change.

To answer your question, I don't know of any review sites for British videos.

You are talking as if there are no reviews on this site.

I think the main problem with the type of reviews on the site mentioned by JonnyQ is finding someone with the patience to make a note of every variation in position in every scene. It isn't going to be me. But if anyone wants to do them, they can be put up here.

Really, of most interest are whether oral,vaginal or anal
and type of cumshot.
....ie. what's mostly supplied already whenever there's a
write-up.
As has been said, if you're still interested after that then
you may as well get hold of a copy & see for yourself.

I can see both sides of the argument here.

There have been times when I've wanted to know the specifics of a video before committing my not-very-hard-earned dosh to purchasing it.

On the other hand I can also fully appreciate the anticipation of the unknown which could lead to either dribbling disappointment or a massive 4 tissue surprise

I do have one suggestion though.

Perhaps the site history/summary section could include a list of reviews added that month as well as the usual info. I realise of course that the extra burden may make it impracticle so feel free to shoot my suggestion down in flames Alec and Phil K!

I agree. From a review, all I really want to know is who gets what. In other words, whether each featured girl either gets the works, or just stands there with smile.
