Post by DB »

Hey,
I just watched this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070473/ and was looking for more info on this fine site but couldnt find any. Maybe I did something wrong, but just in case I didnt I guess when it is by Billian, it should be here. !wink!

Not listed here because it's softcore?

The production company, Regina Film, does not seem to have been involved in hc material. The main performers do not appear to have done hc work either, although I am not an expert on the matter.
From what I can understand it was an erotic sex comedy (about 3 peasants who travel to Munich looking for sexual excitement), and released in France around 1974 under the title "Ah! Quel plaisir de pouvoir s'en servir..." by Empire??

well there is couple of soft core films in this database as well. and among the actors is Sepp Gneisl, hell of a name in classic porn as well as Hans Billian. It is up to the admin whether he will mention it here or not.

There were a lot more movie titles and performers at EGAFD very early on when the database went on-line. Little by little many have been dropped, but a few have remained. Can't explain the whys and wherefores. The mods may be in a better position to explain the justification for the remaining ones. Some may have to do with the fact some softcore films circulated with hard-core inserts, and others where a performer may have done soft and hc work, or that she appeared in a non-sex role.
In any event, I do not decide what should be and what should not be in EGAFD, although I notice you are pressing the case that it should be in EGAFD (on what basis? solely because of Billian?). I always personally felt that if the film was softcore to begin with, it has no place to be in a hc movie database. Joe D'Amato and other Italian movie directors did soft core and hc movies, but why would you list the mainstrean titles in a adult movie database, just because he may have directed some porn movies along the way?

For instance I notice BGAFD and IAFD have a filmo listing of Ava Cadell.

She was Hungarian born, and was featured in a number of sex comedies in Britain in the 1970's (CONFESSIONS OF A WINDOW CLEANER, The Ups and Downs of a Handyman), but are all/any of the the titles listed at BGAFD softcore or hc?
I am really not sure she really did any hc work. Perhaps someone can clarify.

Its listed on imdb...its softcore...no point duplicating it?

Just as egafd when it first started out didnt include private material for the simple reason there was too much unexplored territory to cover the very well known why would it include softcore that is known to be as such.

In any case even if it were listed I'd bet my house there would more than likley not be a link to where you can buy it
