Just to let you guys know that the Pornocracy documentary (all about mindgeek, manwin, pornhub et all) is now available to view on Amazon. & viewing is Free if you are a prime member.

Am going to watch it myself later today, but have been looking for it for sometime. Supposedly it was going to be a netflix release, but anyway... Its on amazon now :)

thanks i just watched the trailer. You have to wonder about the sanity and motives (not to mention the sustainability) of any government willing to do business with them IF the last statement in that trailer were to be true and even as an allegation it cannot go without serious investigation as it should be ringing alarm bells on the rooftops of whitehall.

People in porn industry have been moaning for a very long time all the way back to when dvd was first going to hit.

The problem with them is they are stuck in there old ways and do not want to adapt.

As we can see shift has happened to online and mindgeek took advantage of this that is business (regarding tube sites if they are killing porn then why would he buy it all up that would mean he is losing his own money makes no sense)

Regarding the money side of things porn was built on dirty money even to this day it still has a bad rep because of those practices and the way society is.

Like any industry it changes I remember seeing programs about porn indurty in america back almost 20 years ago saying the industry will be dead in 5-10 years well its still going all that has happened is shift in wealth from a few lining there pockets with millions to lots of people getting only thousands now.

If there was no money in it why are so many doing it quick cash.

to answer one of your questions: try to upload a complete Brazzers scene to pornhub and see how long before it gets pulled down. Now ask any other non-mindgeek company how hard it is to police their stuff being uploaded and how hard it is to get that material removed from said sites once it is.
