Re: Top Gear producer to sue Clarkson
Someone pointed out the other day, that if Clarkson had abused a child as opposed to a producer, he would have been in the clear, as the BBC would have covered it all up...
Re: Top Gear producer to sue Clarkson
Only if he had also been best friends with the Prime Minister and the Prince of Wales at the same time (JS spent alternate weekends with Maggie and Chas and Di I recall).

Racism and nationality are two completely different things.
The producer is accusing Clarkson of racism, yet he is of the same race as Clarkson.

Definition of Race Discrimination according to the Equality Act 2010............
The Equality Act 2010 makes it unlawful to discriminate against employees, job seekers and trainees because of race - this includes the different elements of colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin.

This does not apply:
The producer was not an employee of Clarkson. He did not seek a job with Clarkson. He was not training for a job with Clarkson.

Re: Top Gear producer to sue Clarkson
Then why hasn't the case been thrown out already, and why is it progressing to a tribunal?

Why are people being prosecuted - and convicted - for alleged sexual assaults that supposedly happened decades ago, and for which no evidence whatsoever exists?
Because our legal system is becoming downgraded, with standards of proof reduced to tabloid level.
