Is it me or are we being censored to death? Hardly anything controversial on these days, hour after hour of puerile brain rot like the X factor etc. Mary Whitehouse would have nothing to do or say in 2012.

The X Factor stuff is on wall-to-wall because it's cheap to make. Reality and celebrity shows are the same, fill up hours of TV, at very little production cost, and of course, the God of TV, the premium rate viewer vote line.

I heard some TV producers saying it's almost impossible to pitch and idea these days unless there's a viewer voteline involved, they even considered using it in the news a few years ago.

They haven't started with the net yet. Watching all the smokescreens with Schofield , Bercow , Newsnight , Messham etc. Cover-up in plain sight. But don't ask anyone in Italy about any of it - he has no phone etc , doesn't know what's going on over here.

My SKY planner has one show for the entire evening, Secret State. Not sniff on any other channel worth recording. I admit to being fussy but channel after channel of chavvy drivel like TOWIE, Geordie Shaw etc is hardly entertainment...

Personally - on the sex aspect - and as one man who debated live with
Mary Whitehouse back in the Eighties, I can assure you that miserable,
tight-lipped, hypocritical, sex-obsessed bitch would find things to complain
about if she was alive today, trust me on that !

You are not wrong. I fear after the recent Newsnight scandal we the dumb viewers will be made to dumb down even more. The BBC will now be too frghtened to take on anyone apart from dodgy builders on Watchdog. It will be now down to Channel 4 and maybe ITV and some of the press to expose wrong doing. So I'm afraid us plebs can look forward to a load more Celebrity.......dancing, singing, jungle, juggling etc etc for the forseable future!

Or you could just get Netflix and spend every evening watching loads of brilliant American and Danish dramas at a mere 6 quid a month!

The tv channels are polluted with moronic reality show shite and auction shows

I thought I was the only one that had noticed the Establishment solid steel firewall being pulled down and locked and bolted. "Now go away you nosey proles there's nothing to see here, we'll make sure there's plenty of Celebrity Come Dancing to keep you happy, now fuck off!"

Maybe the population aren't quite as dumb as they think, I think they are just pragmatists. As an incidental footnote I read that the only time there was a pause in the alleged shenanigans in Jersey was during the last war when the Germans threatened to hang anyone found, "Behaving inappropriately.".........bet that pooped the party a bit!!party!
