I always found security essentials very good! Just wondering if your ISP provides free security???? I'm with plus net and MCafee is free! Maybe your provider offers the same?

I use it along with threatfire (hips)
and eset online scanner as a weekly backup

and a raft of other freeware for removal

spybot
spyblaster
malwarebytes
super-antispyware

Rkill to kill what ever is making the above not function

but the one thing that seems to keep most things out is a sandbox around what ever browser your using

I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials now for a few years and have no problems. Just keep it updated and runs scans regularly.

if you would like to add me on Yahoo IM, please mention BGAFD. thanks :)
