Take That tickets

Post by Flat_Eric »

My suggestion to anyone who missed out on getting hold of Take That concert tickets is to go out and buy a pack of Turkey Twizzlers instead, as they're reformed cocks too.

I can't believe the desire for tickets. They announced four nights at Wembley Stadium, which all sold out. That is about 320,000 tickets. This is impressive, for them to be so in demand and so popular, and I give credit to them. They'll probably add more dates now.

I think the return of Robbie Williams is because of his flagging solo career and the huge success of Take That as a four-piece. Their last tour was enourmous and I think that is why he and Gary Barlow are now pals and he decided to rejoin the band. A couple of years from now, when Take That is on hiatus and the members are living on differnt continents again, Robbie Williams will probably be calling Gary Barlow a wanker all over again and saying he found reforming with them to be an anti climax.

I have a tidy tenner on with my female colleague that Williams will cause them to split up again. She is convinced that they are his new backing band and will be happy to let do more of his numbers than Take Twat.....not a chance!!

I saw part of the press conference they gave when they announced the forthcoming tour. Jason Orange sat at the end looking a bit depressed and not very interested. I wonder if he was as keen as the others for Williams to return.

Regarding the demand, I saw on Ceefax News today that they sold one million tickets in Britain yesterday for this tour. That is seriously impressive and is apparently a new record.

I think a lot of the women who got the tickets bought them for multiple venues as i know some relatives of mine went to see them more than once on the same tour!

It took mere minutes for RW to prove himself a complete cock at the TT press conference, so that's a fairly solid prediction.

Robbie's problem, apart from being Robbie Williams all the time, is that he is not that natural a talent. His solo career lost its way after splitting from his long-term songwriter/musical director Guy Chambers. Now he's returned to safety of Gary Barlow's soft rock balladry. Nice for the fans of old whom TT cleverly drew back, but it does look like he needs them more than they need him.
