Did anyone else watch the footie the other night. Was the Belarus right back called Shittov or did I keep hearing it wrong ?
Anyway it reminded of two guys with somewhat unusual names myself.
Back in the lates 70's I worked with a guy and his name was Tony Withshuson - with shoes on !
And my brother played cricket with a guy from New Zealand in the 80's and his name was Wayne King !
Anybody else got any genuine ones ?

yep, the commentator said, "if you're going to snigger, you can just go to bed now" after the first mention of it.

By the way, I can assure you that we Liverpool supporters (sadly, I was interested in football as a child) most certainly did not pronounce it 'Trebilco' !wink!
Re: Unfortunate names !
I went to sea with someone who was called John Thomas and his middle name was Richard . His father must have had a blinding sense of humour.

Probably she was not conceived in Paris but it sounds a lot better than "Up a close"
