Looks like the Tories are lining up their plan to stiff the less well off as they revert to their usual type.

This measure which affects those who are currently between 49 and 59 means that those concerned will have to wait another year to get their state pension. The reason given is the deficit.
The state pension in the UK is the worst in the EU already and the age at which people retire in the UK is amongst the highest in the EU. Thatcher got rid of the link between average earnings and pensions which was a huge blow to millions.

Obviously if you are a well-off banker with your large bonus, this wont matter. If you are not wealthy, then the thought of the Conservatives stealing thousands of pounds from you , probably wont go down well, particularly when you cotton on that it is being used to support a bunch of grasping bankers.
The question to both Labour and Conservatives of course is "Why the fuck can one of the largest economies in the world not afford to pay its workforce anything like the pension that every other EU country seems to be able to" I suspect that the answer is that this is because Britain is an extreme capitalist country and the Tories will increase these extreme policies which can best be summarised by the old music hall song "Its the rich what gets the money, its the poor what gets the blame".
If the Tories get in, I would predict riots which will make the Toxteth riots look like a vicar's tea party.

At last, some actual policies from the bunch of Cs. That's a start, I suppose.
For too long, Cameron's poll ratings were rising quicker than a woodsman about to do a scene with Alicia Rhodes, yet all the while he was spewing forth vacuous nonsense along the lines of "what we need is less bad government.....and more good government".....or "we to make X/Y/Z robust and fit for purpose" (with precisely no details of what this would entail in practical terms).
