?5 m for Harry. How much to pay-off Ramos, Poyet and others? Similar amount again ? Spurs fans must be delighted that they've spent a third of the Berbatov revenue on a change of manager !

Ramos' total 5 year deal was worth ?25m, and he's only been at Spurs for a year, which I guess leaves another ?20m or so outstanding...whether he'll get the full amount or whether he has negotiated some sort of quickie lump sum payoff with no non-compete strings attached is something that will come out in next week or so, I would imagine.

As for Redknapp, I think it's a wonderful choice...I can fondly recall the last time he walked out on Pompey mid-season to take over the reigns at a struggling, relegation-threatened club, and how it all panned out in the end. Here's hoping he can work the same magic at Tottenham.

I find it bizarre that a Manager can swap teams in the same league mid season

How are the Portsmouth fans going to feel if their team suddenly starts to slide?

Not that similar. According to Ramos's agent, it is ?12.6m for Ramos alone.

Redknapp is so full of bull!

Promised Portsmouth when he last went back to them that this would be his final club before retiring.

I believe he also said that at Southampton before sending them down.

The only thing Redknapp is interested in is ????????

Sam Allardyce to replace Arry, apparently- presumably the Chairman has a huge stack of envelopes he wants to use up.

Tony Adams staying at Pompey- he says he owes that to the Arsenal fans and his Arsenal friends.

Sums up football exactly these days it is all about the money for most.

While a bit sorry for the Pompy fans in a way I am glad their feeling what its like when money gets involved.

Pompy took our best player and along with it our chance to get to the Premiership when they bought Dave Nugent.

Most at PNE knew that while he was a good player he was still young and he wasn't ready for the Prem.

Nugent went because of the money Pompy and Rednapp offered nothing more.

I don't blame Nugent for going and I don't blame Rednapp either but when you think about some of the once famous clubs who have gone into administration even folded who wouldn't have if they had just the compensation package offered it shows everything that is wrong with the game.

Plus about ?3m for the others apparently, so in total something in the order of ?15.6m.
