Can Anyone help me?

I have being playing guitar for about a year now. I am ok but I'm no Hendrix. I am stuck in a hard spot. I have chuby hands and can't always get a clear sound when I strum. I was wondering if anyone knew a guitar (electric) with a wider neck so the strings are apart more. Or even if anyone knows where I can get a custome one made.

ibanez guitars and les pauls tend to have a nice wide and flat neck, whereas strats and teles have those rounded thin necks.

alternatively you could take up bass
