Ok,so two days to go till the top two in England do battle in Moscow for Europe's top prize.
Who do my fellow forumites WANT to win on wednesday?.I'm shocked that most London 'non supporting' Chelsea fans want Manure to win,i just call it pure jealousy !grin!.
At least we have the Blue half of Manchester, and the whole of Liverpool on our side,as well as Leeds fans !thumbsup!.
Rumour has it that Liam and Noel Gallagher (massive City fans) have purchased Chelsea shirts, especially for wednesday !laugh!
Feel free as well to use this thread to chat about the game.
Only one more working day for me till i'm off for the rest of the week, and i start the mother of piss up's !happy!

Enjoy Mike!!
I want Urinal to win because I think they play the better football..but what I reeaaally want is for it to be a great game and advert for the Premiership, loads of goals, end to end, result in doubt until injury time.. and the fans to enjoy it and get on...

God, this almost chokes me to say this...being a Leeds fan and all that, but I think Chelsea might just wing it and win the match....Wanders off coughing and spitting in a corner..
Re: Champions League Final(chat and predictions)
I want the best footballing side to win, and that's been Man Utd consistently throughout the season.
Don't want to be negative, but I really think the Chelsea bubble will burst spectacularly at some stage---off the pitch rather than on. According to figures revealed in the latest Private Eye, their loans are pushing up towards ?600m and a year when they win the Premiership means they are ?5m less in debt than they would be. At some point, this will have to be addressed.

Chelsea to win 2-0
Ronaldo to yet again flop in a big game (Messi made him look like a pub player in the semis, he's never scored against Chelsea and never will until he ups his game... in many ways he reminds me of Graeme Hick, who scored century after century in county cricket, but never really delivered in the biggest games)

'Manure', Mike? I thought you didn't like these nicknames (like 'Chelski' etc)? !wink!
Anyway, I want a "Man Utd' victory, but I feel Chelsea might just edge it (as usual: by the one goal). I feel that Chelsea have only played decent football in a single game, it being the second leg against Liverpool. Chelsea have had the easiest run-in to the semis, facing mediocre opposition.
In contrast, Man Utd have taken on the French champions, in Lyon, plus Roma and Barcelona. Only Liverpool have had the harder run-in (Inter - Arsenal - Chelsea).
Chelsea have had the bit of luck all cup winners need but I do hope Man Utd come away with the win. They play the better, more attacking football, with more flair players, and they're a younger squad overall that are only going to improve over the next few seasons.
I also would like to see what Abramovich's reaction will be if you end up trophyless. Will he plough more money into Chelsea, or try and sell the club? he's hardly seen a game in 2008.

Abramovich has a new woman, which can stop one from going reguarly to games.
I speak from experience on this theory, and i'm sure many other blokes would back me up on this.
Just found out that the referee for the final is the same ref that allowed that Liverpool 'goal' in the 2005 semi final at Anfield.I think he owes us one !wink!

Man Utd have relied on 3 or 4 players to score the majority of their goals, whilst Chelsea's have been more evenly spread. As such there are more Chelsea players capable of threatening the Utd goal than the converse.
As for ages... I think you'll find that United's team on Wednesday is, on average, only about a year younger than Chelsea's, so not the wide difference that is commonly portrayed in the United-biased media.
If you really think Chelsea have only played one decent game all season, I suggest a quick visit to Specsavers is in order.

Chelsea for the victory as I think they might just want it a wee bit more than the Mancs (I also get the impression that they are the fresher team). I can see the Chuckle Brothers (Steve Clarke & Avram Grant) having the last laugh on Wendesday!!!laugh!
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
