I thought he'd passed away years ago.
Immortalised as the haplass Mr Barraclough in Porridge for my money

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

It was a brilliant comedic performance. I also liked him as Foggy in LOTSW. When he left that programme it went downhill - and I'm not referring to three men in a bath tub going down an incline either.

Richard Beckinsale died 1st and he was the youngest.

Was only watching porridge the other night. Liked his performance in
that but not a Foggy fan I'm afraid.
