PS3 Help Needed Please

Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone on this forum can help me with a problem I am having with my son's PS3......

Worked fine on the tv downstairs, now he has a fitted one in his bedroom, had a friend fit it upstairs with all the same wires/connections etc but now it does not play DVDs, the games are fine, albeit PS3 games as some PS2 games don't work, but it was all fine for the last four to five months, played dvds downstairs no problem, we put a dvd on and it just says "no signal"

Anyone have any idea what the problem is.

Would very much appreciate any help.

Try resetting the video settings by turning it off, then back on, but keep your finger on the power button til it beeps a second time.
