American to British keyboard settings

Post by James not Bond »

OK, I've fooked up.

I reformatted my computer, forgot to to change the keyboard settings in the process and am now stuck with American keyboard.

How do I change settings to British keyboard please?

Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options - change the Standards and Formats setting to English (UK), then restart windows.

Lol.......leave you pc alone dude.

It asks you in BIG letters which keyboard layout you want upon install; you cannot miss it.

My ex purchased her Powerbook mac while in LA. British English with American layout. No real issues apart from it took me a while to find the '?' sign.
