thinking off moving over to linux ... however after doing a search i've come across so many version and don't have a clue which to DL ....

What i want to is browsing, video editing and some thing like photo shop. can anyone point me in the right direction ????

Ubuntu - download and burn the ISO. Change your PC Bios to boot fron the CD/DVD Drive. Put Ubuntu disc in and reboot. Now you can try Linux without installing it or changing your current PC.

Most Linux Distro's can do this but Ubuntu makes it really easy.

Photoshop version 7 can be run on Linux using Wine. Cinnerella is a decent video editor for Linux.

Also if you decide you like Ubuntu - it's easy to install too there is a link right on your desktop to do it all for you.

Plus it comes with MythTV which turns your PC directly into a Media Centre.
