Funny but a good post for the word "NOT". That was Ian Scott's (guitarist from the N.Y. thrash group Anthrax) favorite word!

Yep! At least they used it in a sentence. Ian Scott had t-shirts with the word printed in big letters for sale I believe at a time.

I have a very sad game I play when strolling through streets...every newspaper headline I see outside a paper shop, I add the word "not" TWICE to it. They usually become true, which suggests that at some stage the double negative "not" rendering the original meaning entirely the same has been kidnapped from our society and held hostage somewhere in medialand.

9/11 NOT [not] an inside job

How NOT [not] to pull birds.

You get the idea! Once you get started, it's hard to stop. You can even do it with this post:

NOT [Not] Missing: the word "not".

Feckin great fun.

With reference to version 1.0 of this fabulous game, patented and authorised by world-class and self-proclaimed "GZR" WZR who is inclined to fight cyberspace forum-barneys "on the beaches"...... we get:

WZR is [not] an highly intelligent and witty individual, and does [not] refrain from antagonising other forumites or even Admin itself. He is not in any way a sad case, [not].

This author does [not] want removed from these here forums, and does [not] love nothing more than pandering to a twat. He does not [not] love tying [not] himself [not] in [not] knots with [not?] pseudo-intellectual grammatical [notty not not] naughty knot headlines [not].

I do not [not] enjoy taking a daft joke way [not] too far.

!wink! [not] ?

I wish I did [not] understand what I have just typed.

!laugh!

3 mintues wasted!! !wink!
