New ?20 Note
Its bad enough that when you produce a 20 the entire shop has to have a conference on whether its a forgery. Produce one of these new buggers and see what happens. I picked my chicken club sandwich in Greggs handed over my "NEW" 20 and was asked whether it was a real note or not, no darling thought I would try my luck with my own design. It was then passed to every member of the shop so they could gaze upon its magnificence like prehistoric man discovering fire. But I suppose it was Greggs and the first question on the application form is "are pasties one of the major food groups?" tick yes and you are in. You would think that businesses would try to keep up with minor details such as MONEY. Cant imagine why in england most businesses fold within the first year.

The look like Euros with the Queens head on. Totally stupid.
The next one will be a similar layout without the Queens head on, and some French guy in her place. Not many will notice.

Notes and coins looked better when the Queen was still good looking. How about replacing her with someone tastier? And I don't mean Prince Charles.

The Queen was once good looking?
Europe wants us to join, we mostly don't. Lets meet half way where we keep the pound, but have Silvia Saint's head on our notes.
Seriously.

As per usual I am not overly bothered by the design, just the lack of them in my wallet as we speak!
Seriously the next one will have an image of Blair, being spit roasted by Bush and Peter "Brazilian boys for me please" Mandelson.

Re: New ?20 Note
I hope it WILL be the euro soon!!!
Now, I better get my tin hat on and look out for all the enraged 'Daily Mail' and 'The Scum' readers who are appalled at my unpatriotic attitude.
I remember William Hague from the 2001 election with his truly nauseating
"Save The ?" campaign. What a twerp.
This country, will, one day, have the euro as its currency.
I mean, if they finally relented to allow shops to open on a Sunday and football matches to be played under floodlights (ask anyone 60+ about the furore over that) anything is possible.
HOWEVER... if you're going on about better looking totty on the notes, surely Angel Long is a must for the fiver - I'll probably see more of those than tenners or twenties!!! !laugh!
