Did anyone watch this 'Documentary' about the HIV crisis that closed the industry in Porn Valley last April....

What a load of old horsey manure!!! It seemed to point blame at; as it called the GONZO MOVIE.... blaming this genre for the outbreak etc....

SHIT, SHIT. SHIT!!!!!!! Can one of our own very good film makers who have the right contacts let them know that this was purely and utterly down to a guy... who we know and was mentioned on the programme having an experience...with another person not on a porn-shoot!!! But got the virus because... I don't think I can say it here .. I don't know... But it wasn't contracted from a porn-shoot!!!! and all that stuff about GONZO!!! Can someone explain that some of the best GONZO out there.... isn't about painful and un-natural sex, but simply a style that a movie is shot in...

I dunno the details of DJ contracting the virus, but I guess Brazilian women were the easiest target to point the finger at.

As for Gonzo........ well though Gonzo isn't to blame, but from Gonzo we got Double Anal & Double Vag. These sexual/circus acts are more likely to spread the HIV virus and thats a fact.

Girls & guys who do double anal are just asking for trouble, in my opinion.

It is my understanding that the outbreak occurred because DJ worked in Brazil unprotected and then passed the infection on during the shooting of Split That Booty 2. The style of that movie concentrated on rough anal sex where it is more likely that the HIV virus will be passed on. I think 3 actresses contracted the virus from DJ and the one girl who didn't only engaged in vaginal sex with him.
If you think rough anal sex had no part in the outbreak then you are fooling yourself.

Double Anal was also a pretty common occurence in the Split That Booty series, I'm reliably informed (hence the title)...which in turn will almost inevitably lead to tearing in the anus, which means blood (however slight), which means an increased chance of fluid-to-fluid transfer.

My point is simply... that GONZO is a style of movie that is shot!! I've seen double A and V , in other types of movies! Not just Gonzo!!!

This Docu seemed to totally state that it was GONZO's fault.

B D 's movies are all GONZO... there's no DOUBLE A there... That's my point!!

How DJ got the Virus isn't my point!! There is conjecture there anyway, that's why I don't want to be unsavoury talking about the rights and wrongs of what happened... or exactly how it happened.

My simple view is that the DOCU seemed to simply overstate that it was 'ALL' Gonzo's fault... A worrying feature was also the likelyhood of condom-only... that will just move things underground.. it always does!!

The AIM clinic surely has to be a stepping stone to greater and better things in the Valley and that's were resources should be better employed.

It was contained which in it's itself was an amazing act for the industry over there. and I take my hat off to the people in question, who helped to contain it. I feel sorry for the people who have contracted it... and this is were lessons need to be learned... By employing a system that will protect it's employees, but still allow the consumers to see what they want to see.

The problem is wherever there are rogue elements... there will always be an edge to what they do. I hope Talent can be protected. But just banning something to fix it... we know dosen't solve the problem. Better testing, more clinics, cutting edge analysis , is what's needed.
