Not in my area yet....but i'm sure as hell going to get it as soon as it is.

?10 for 16 meg and no connection charge or download limit! Have it!

Plus if you just want 2meg with a download limit, you get it for nothing if you're a Sky customer!

Sounds tooo good to be true. I am going to let it roll out and get stable first. Have you ever tried contacting Sky for an intermittant problem..aaaagh

Especially as I seem fairly ok on my BB at present even though it's costing me ?15 for 1mbyte service.

Sky have been looking at Broadband for a while and it was even rumoured they were thinking about buying AOL who are up for sale.

It's a good marketing tool as it will keep the interest of people like me who have the full Sky package but are becoming disillusioned with the lack of new programming and endless adverts for car insurance, loans for bad debtors and then adverts for how to not pay the loans when you can't afford to pay them! The cheap broadband is only available to Sky subscribers.

The key point will be their abilty to actually provide the 8 and 16MB packages. AOL advised me that their 8MB package was being rolled out from the end of March but nothing as yet. Try to ask them when and you get a pro-forma 'we aim to give the best service' statement. Surely they must know target dates and why not just have a webpage where we can see this rather than leave everyone in the dark. Mind you, it's not just AOL. Go to any provider advertising an 8MB connection and you find you can only get 2MB.

If Sky can come in with good coverage for the 8 and 16MB services then potentially they could clean up.

Sounds like a great deal. Won't be available until the new year in my area. Beats my overpriced BT connection I have at the moment.
