A nasty on my drive

Help! This nasty has downloaded to my hard drive, does anyone know how to get rid of it, it opens its own browsers whenevr I go onto the net. Pain.

Try downloading hijackthis. It shows changes to your registry.

http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html

But don't delete anything unless your 100% sure you've found the problem.

Thanks I did try that but could not find the specific name, loads of things found but don't want to take action without being sure.
