No it doesn't make you hard right away.
Look at it this way, when you take it something that wouldn't give you a hard-on but would give you what i call a 'lazy lob-on', a half hard scenario, will give you the kind of hard-on you got when you were 16. That's my experience of it anyway. I have no problem getting an erection without chemical assistance but no way can I say I get as hard as when I was a teenager.
