I think the decision to take off Henry and bring on Bergkamp will haunt Wenger. Okay, Thierry wasn't doing much, but he's always capable of producing a touch of inspired genius.

Tough luck, Janey.

I now face a serious dilemma... my next show is on 20th April... the same day as the Monaco v Chelsea Semi Final first leg!!!

The venue I'm using doesn't have a TV or even a TV arial, and being in a basement there's no chance of getting a signal off the loop arial of a portable telly. How do I run my show and not miss the game?

Overjoyed at beating Arsenal at last, but especially so for Claudio who made the right decision of keeping an unchanged team to start with and then making the crucial change at h/t of bringing on Gronks to pin Ashley Cole back and allow Duff more freedom to roam.

Decisions decisions

How about having yourself kidnapped

Have a body double stand in for you

Then again its only Monaco...they just played their grand final so should be a walk in the park for Chelsea

Chelsea v AC Milan final

cheers

Monaco's victory was no fluke!!! They put 8 goals past Deportivo (who play Milan tonight) and in Deschamps have a coach who is rapidly rising in stature, to the point where he's widely being talked about as the next Juventus coach. As a player he won everything; World Cup and European Championships as France's captain, and two European Cups, with Marseille and Juventus, with both of whom he also won domestic titles and cups. The man has a wealth of experience at the very top.

Evra, Squillaci, Ramos, Givet, Ciss? and Giuly are all on the fringes of the French national side (probably as hard to get into as the Brazil side), and except for Giuly, are all in their early 20s. Don't be surprised if many of those names are at Milan, Real, Barca and Juventus next season.

I'd have prefered Real Madrid because their defence is so shaky and although Ronaldo, Raul, Figo, Beckham and Zidane can all create and score chances even they struggle against well organised defences. Let's face it, Real have struggled at home to some ordinary Spanish sides this season and looked unconvincing against Bayern in the previous round.

Chelsea should beat Monaco, but it's not a foregone conclusion. One thing that Ranieri has in his character which is slowly being instilled in his players (and hopefully in all Chelsea supporters) is humility in victory and magnanimity in defeat.
